Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Store Panda collects when you shop with us, either on storepanda.pk or through the Store Panda Android app, and what we do with it. It describes how the service actually works today — nothing more.
Who we are
Store Panda is an online grocery store delivering in Faisalabad, Pakistan. You can reach us at hello@storepanda.pk, or through the contact details on our contact page.
What we collect
When you place an order
- Your name — so the rider knows who the order is for.
- Your phone number — to confirm the order and call you on delivery.
- Your delivery address and city — to bring the order to you.
- Your email address — optional. If you give it, we can email you a receipt. If you leave it blank we generate an internal placeholder so our system can process the order; nothing is ever sent to it.
- What you ordered, and when.
Your location, only if you choose to share it
At checkout you can tap “Use my location” or drop a pin on a map. If you do, we store those map coordinates with your order so the rider can navigate to your door. This is entirely optional — you can type your address instead, and the order works the same way. We do not track your location at any other time, and the app does not follow you in the background.
Notifications
If you install our app and allow notifications, your device is issued an anonymous notification token which we store so we can send you updates about your order. It does not identify you personally and is deleted automatically when you uninstall the app. You can turn notifications off at any time in your phone’s settings.
Your account
When you place your first order we create an account for you automatically, identified by your phone number, so your order history and any saved monthly packages are there next time. You do not have to fill in a signup form, and we do not ask you to create a password.
Ordinary website data
Like any website, our host records standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type, and we use cookies to keep your shopping cart working while you browse. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your information to anyone.
- We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not collect payment card details — orders are cash on delivery.
- We do not track your location in the background.
- We do not read your contacts, photos, messages or files.
Who else handles your data
To run the service we rely on a small number of providers, and only the minimum information reaches them:
- Our web host stores the website and its database.
- Expo and Google Firebase deliver notifications to your phone. They receive the notification token and the message, not your address or order details.
- OpenStreetMap converts map coordinates into a street name when you use the location picker. This happens only at the moment you use it.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as we need them for our accounts and for any questions about past orders. Notification tokens are removed as soon as a device stops being reachable, which happens when you uninstall the app.
Your choices
- Notifications — turn them off in your phone settings at any time.
- Location — never required; type your address instead.
- Your data — write to us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Note that we may need to keep basic order records for accounting.
Children
Store Panda is intended for adults doing their household shopping. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
